“RessourcenWandel” project successfully completed: 27 participants took the step towards mindfulness and inner strength!

We are delighted and proud to announce the successful conclusion of our interactive project, “RessourcenWandel” (Resource Transformation)! Over the course of a month, 27 inspiring migrant women came together to discuss ecology, conscious consumption, and—above all—the search for inner stability and a sense of purpose in their new home.
Our project comprised two profound and heartwarming gatherings:
Meeting 1: “Fast Fashion” and the Conscious Use of Resources
In the first four-hour seminar, we delved into the topic of textile ecology. We discussed:
The impact of the “fast fashion” industry on our planet.
European approaches to sustainability.
Hands-on experience: The absolute highlight of the meeting was our swap party! Participants exchanged clothes, gave garments a second life, and put conscious consumption into practice.
Meeting 2: Upcycling Picnic and Finding Purpose
Our second meeting took place outdoors in the form of a creative picnic. Here, we combined creativity with mental well-being:
Creative upcycling: Participants designed and painted their own T-shirts and sneakers, transforming everyday items into unique works of art.
Psychological empowerment: While creating, we held an important session featuring a talk and discussion. We explored the link between environmentally conscious action and personal mental resilience, and discussed how creativity and mindfulness can help us find a new sense of purpose and a feeling of truly “arriving” in our new home.
Project Outcomes:
27 participants, dozens of garments saved from waste, unique self-designed T-shirts, and—most importantly—new connections, mutual support, and a sense of security. We sincerely thank each and every one of you for the trust, warmth, and courage to walk this path of transformation together!
Stay tuned – more projects and meetings are coming soon!
