Eco-Dialogues: Resources, Mindfulness, and Harmony in Communication!
The “Eco-Dialogues” project has successfully concluded!
We are delighted to announce the successful completion of our wonderful project, “Eco-Dialogues: Resources, Mindfulness, and Harmony in Communication.” Over the past few weeks, participants worked alongside experts to learn how to transform passive consumption into the active management of their own lives—regarding both material and internal resources.
Special thanks go to our partners and sponsors! The project was realized with financial support from the German Foundation for Engagement and Volunteering (DSEE). Caritas supported us as a valued media and information partner, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to AWO for welcoming us so warmly and providing the venue for all our seminars.
The project comprised three intensive, practical seminars:
Household Ecology: We examined the fundamentals of household management in Germany, waste separation rules, and effective ways to save electricity and water.
Communication Ecology: Together with a psychologist, participants learned Nonviolent Communication (NVC) techniques to express their own needs mindfully and better understand others, even in stressful situations.
Psychological Resilience: We worked intensively on the internal resources crucial for successful adaptation and avoiding isolation in a new country.
Most importantly, our participants not only gained new knowledge but also became true multipliers. They can now share these valuable insights within their own communities, thereby sustainably strengthening the mutual aid network we have created.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on this journey! Although the project has ended, our supportive community lives on and continues to grow.
